Birmingham-based designer Andrew Brown has a knack for artful layers (as you can see from his entry I featured last year). I love his home tour and wanted to share his living room as well, which is filled with cherished antiques and fabulous details like the high-gloss black wall surrounding the fireplace. I love the sisal rug as a neutral base for the room and the shades of blue he used on the upholstery. Pedestals are also quite the beloved traditional accent (I love the one in this Birmingham loft) and they are really growing on me!
